Cruise in to Tasmanian bushranger history, search for gold, let the cannons fire and take a walk along the cliff!

Penny Royal Park Pass

Perfect for all ages that prefer a bit of fun at ground level, with the chance to take a walk across the cliffs and waterfall too.

The Penny Royal park pass is also a favourite for families who are adventuring with children under the age of 7 or adventurers who aren't ready to cliff-walk, cliff-jump or zip their way across the village.

The $39 Park Pass incorporates two key Tasmanian convict stories: beginning with an underground ride on our Matthew Brady Dark Ride, which takes a look at the history of Tasmania's very own ''Gentleman Bushranger''. The Dark Ride features life-like animatronics, who tell the tale of how Brady fled the law in an effort to create a better Van Dieman's land for himself and other convicts.

The next tale is told by our very own Captain, who accompanies you on the Brig Tamar, an historic vessel which sails on the hour on our purpose built lagoon. The Captain spins a few yarns and takes adventurers on a tour of the haunted prison, which is located on the eerie Sarah Island! The Captain is a bit of a character and has been known to let little ones steer the ship or fire a cannon whilst he gets lost in one of his Tasmanian tales.

Once back on dry-land, adventurers have an opportunity to pan for real gold in our very own gem-stone mine before kicking off their shoes and enlightening their senses whilst walking across the Barefoot Sensations.
